Banana Strawberry & Passion Fruit Smoothie



It's a good thing that I love smoothies and all things almond milky blended, because over the weekend, I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed. So not only am I doped up on pain killers, but I'm finding it hard to consume anything unless it's coming through a straw. I've upped my daily smoothie intake from one to two, and the past few night's dinners have been soup, and over cooked risotto. I'll spare you the goopy risotto recipe, but this one is too good to keep quiet - it's not only for toothless swollen jawed folk like me. Happy sipping!

Banana Strawberry & Passion Fruit Smoothie

Place the following in a glass of at least 500ml capacity: 1 frozen banana 4 strawberries (use frozen fruit for a thicker, colder smoothie) The pulp of 1 fresh passion fruit 1/3 cup rolled oats (heaped) 1 teaspoon of honey

Fill the cup to the brim with Almond Breeze Unsweetened Almond Milk

Pour the contents of the cup into a blender and blend for 1 minute.

Pour back out into the serving glass and enjoy!
